Foundation Semana Verde de Galicia (FSVG) is a non-profit institution born in 1991 and declared of “Galician Interest". 

Its main objectives are:

• To contribute to the development of the Galician agricultural sector, through fairs and animal markets.  
• To promote public-private cooperation for the development of fairs and other promotional activities in the agricultural, food, industrial and commercial areas, aimed at promoting those sectors.
• To strengthen Galicia’s strategic status as a fair platform for the development of important events at a national and international level
• To boost and promote the INternational Fair of Galicia showground (Silleda - Pontevedra) a strategic business centre for the socio-economic development of the region, and, particularly, as an infrastructure for promotion and business exhibition.
